Over the years, it’s inevitable for wallpaper to get a few nicks, scratches, or even stains. When the damage becomes extensive, it’s a good idea to completely replace the wallpaper, but if you have just a few little issues here and there, there’s no need to go to that great length. All you have to do is patch it up, which is actually a very easy process. Here’s what to do:
Step 1: Find some matching wallpaper. You won’t need a lot. If you don’t have any leftover in your home and you can’t find any at the hardware store, check online. On the web you can find pretty much every pattern of wallpaper ever made. If you don’t find yours, then you’re out of luck, and you might just want to wait until it’s time to install new wallpaper. Alternatively, you can cut away a patch of wallpaper from behind a piece of furniture or in a closet. However, this is hard to do without damaging the patch, so be very careful.
